  • August - May, Monday - Friday
    • 9am - 5pm (closed 12pm-1pm)
  • June & July, Tues - Thurs
    • 9am - 4pm (closed 12pm - 1pm)
Appointments preferred but Walk-ins are accepted.

Medical Insurance will be billed, please bring an insurance card to your appointment. Undergrad students will have no out-of-pocket costs. Graduate & non-students will be charged a co-pay.

Services

Northwest Nazarene University Health Services provides confidential health services for all students, faculty, staff and family members of faculty and staff. Health Services provides the following:
 
  • Assessment and treatment of acute medical illnesses & injuries
  • Assessment and treatment of chronic medical illnesses & injuries
  • Covid-19 evaluation/testing
  • Prescription Management
  • Lab Services In-house and Out-sourced (Interpath Lab)
  • Minor Surgeries
  • Laceration Care

Travel Advice

Students traveling for mission work or for pleasure may consult with the doctor regarding travel health needs. The Wellness Center, however, is not a travel clinic. Recommendations are based on the following sources: www.cdc.gov/travel and current medical literature. Students are encouraged to review CDC (Center for Disease Control) website information for their specific destination(s).

Health Services is dedicated to a healthy campus environment; current health information and immunizations are a vital part of that goal. A Health and Medical History Form and documentation of Immunization Records are required of all students.

Domestic Student Immunizations

There are 4 required vaccinations that need to be included in immunization records:

 

  • TDaP/Td (Tetanus/Pertussis) - within last 10 years
  • Meningitis - initial or booster dose after age 16
  • MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella) - Dose 1&2
    OR a blood titer to show immunity
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox)

International Student Immunizations

There are 6 required vaccinations that need to be included in an International Student's immunization records:
  • TDaP/Td (Tetanus/Pertussis) - within last 10 years
  • MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella) - Dose 1&2
    OR a blood titer to show immunity
  • Polio - 4 doses in childhood or 3 adult doses
  • Tuberculosis Screening
  • Meningitis - initial or booster dose after age 16
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox)
