Commencement Participation Policy

Group of 6 Tickets per Graduate. Children 2 years and under do not need a ticket but may need to sit on a lap

Students may participate in commencement if all degree requirements are completed or will be completed at the end of the spring semester, including the cultural competency experience.


With all other degree requirements met, a student may participate in commencement if no more than 6 credits remain uncompleted.

LAST DAY TO APPLY FOR GRADUATION is Friday, March 19, 2021

Clearance for Participation

If you have been cleared for participation by the Registrar's office, you will be allowed to participate in commencement activities. Traditional undergraduate students will be able to pick up academic regalia at Reunion Zero, Sunday, April 25, 1:00pm, Swayne Auditorium, Brandt Center.  The last day to be cleared for participation is Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

Reunion Zero - regalia and ticket pick-up
If you aren't able to attend Reunion Zero, you may pick up your regalia in the Registrar's office from Tuesday, April 27 - Wednesday, May 5, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Graduates report to Walden Hall in the Student Conrad Commons at least 30 mins (earlier is recommended) prior to commencement for check-in and pictures and then proceed to your seats.
