About the Wellness Center

The NNU Wellness Center is home to NNU Counseling Services which offers a variety of services for students, including counseling, self-help materials, groups and workshops.

Undergraduate students are eligible to participate in any of the counseling services during the academic year. Faculty, staff, and graduate students are eligible for consultation, screening and referral, and crisis services during the academic year. Departmental services include personality inventories, groups, consultations, crisis services, and other trainings as scheduled through the Director of Counseling Services.

NNU Health Services has moved from the Wellness Center to 508 Ivy, the Blue House, around the corner from the Wellness Center. Undergraduate students are eligible to participate in any of the health services during the academic year. Most students are seen by the school doctor on a walk-in, first come, first served basis during clinic hours.

Scheduling & Referrals

In an effort to be proactive in our provision of services to students the following Student Alert Form has been designed by the Counseling Center staff. It is our desire to intervene as soon as possible with students who might be in need of help, possibly moving toward or presently involved in a crisis situation.
You may refer a student to the Wellness Center by calling (208) 467-8466, emailing wellnesscenter@nnu.edu, or filling out Student Alert Form as completely as possible and submitting it to the Wellness Center directly or through campus mail: Box B.
Health or counseling services intake and follow-up forms are available online. These forms do not schedule you an appointment but help us to get all your important information entered so that we can get an appointment scheduled as soon as possible. To schedule an appointment with the wellness center, please contact us by phone at (208) 467-8466 or email wellnesscenter@nnu.edu.
