The Campus Safety Department welcomes you to Northwest Nazarene University. Campus Safety is here to help ensure that the NNU community is as safe as possible. NNU believes it is also every individual's responsibility to remain involved in the safety and security of the NNU community. Annual Campus Security Report
All crimes and incidents are reported in accordance with Uniform Crime Reporting procedures and the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act as required by the United States Department of Education. Clery Act Crime Statistics are compiled January 1-December 31 and updated by October 15 of each year.
In accordance with the Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act, Pub. L. No.106-386, section 1601(b) and (c), 114 Stat. 1537, 1538 (to be codified at 20 U.S.C. section 1092(f)(1) and 42 U.S.C. section 14071(j)), members of the campus community may obtain information of registered sex offenders at the campus security office, the Idaho State Police web site http://www.isp.idaho.gov/sor_id/ or from the Canyon County Sheriff's Office located at 1115 Albany in Caldwell, ID 83605.
The Annual Security report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Northwest Nazarene University and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security.
Campus Safety Officers are on patrol and available for campus emergencies 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
