Northwest Nazarene University’s College of Business has announced a new graduate program beginning in the fall of 2020. The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program will offer two concentrations: Professional Accounting/CPA and Management Accounting/CMA.
The MAcc program is designed to enhance students’ managerial and professional accounting skills through relevant and meaningful instruction led by experienced faculty with real-world experience. It will equip students with both hard skills and soft skills, combined with the ethical foundation needed to succeed in today's diverse business environment.
"The NNU MAcc is unique because it offers two different tracks or paths for accountants,” Mollie Sweet, Associate Professor of Accounting said. “We believe this flexibility, along with the relevant content of the program is just what the market is asking for."
This fully-online program is designed for both full-time students and working professionals. Students will be able to complete their degree in 12-18 months, depending on the number of classes taken during each eight-week session.
