Biography: Joel has been at NNU since January 1, 1999, serving first as Vice President of Finance/General Counsel, then as Vice President for Advancement, before becoming President in 2015. Joel is trained as a lawyer, and practiced business and tax law in Oregon after graduating from law school. Joel also served on the staff of Salem First Church of the Nazarene prior to coming to NNU. Joel is married to Nikki and they have six children (3 great sons and 3 delightful daughters-in-law).

Fun Fact:My father (Kenneth) was also an NNC/U President (1973-83).
