Biography: Daniel Nogales, Ph. D. is a Professor of Chemistry at Northwest Nazarene University. Dr. Nogales joined NNU in 1994. In 1993 Dr. Nogales received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno and his bachelor’s degree from Point Loma Nazarene University in 1987. Dr. Nogales completed a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Oregon in 1994 prior to joining the faculty at NNU in the area of pharmaceutical science and drug design. Dr. Nogales has multiple publications and patents in the scientific field and has received funding for both scientific research and educational research from federal and private sources. Dan lives in Nampa, ID, with his wife Jill and they have three children Kyle, Connor and Kaitlyn.
