Description of Position
Inbound Marketing at NNU focuses on expanding the organic discovery of content on and making NNU more “findable.” As an inbound marketer you have experience growing web traffic to increase leads with search engine optimization, conversion testing, and ongoing improvement of web content. You enjoy working with tools and creating processes to continually improve the results of a prospective customer's journey, and sharing results and insights with other members of the MarCom team to inform their work and help them attain their goals.


As an Inbound Marketing Manager you will define, manage, and implement our overall organic search strategy and will be responsible for increasing website traffic, generating qualified leads, and determining the content needed to nurture those leads down the buyer journey. This is a full-time, Exempt role and reports to the Director of Marketing.


Essential Functions

  • Ensure the web content ranks for priority search terms.
  • Track, monitor and optimize SEO opportunities.
  • Report on traffic growth from SEO and paid search efforts.
  • Ensure web pages are designed and coded in a way that enables consistent and accurate tracking.
  • Collaborate with the MarCom team to develop reporting dashboards that summarize performance for key stakeholders.
  • Work with campus Content Contributors to ensure web content is fresh, accurate, and adheres to our SEO strategy and to industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with our external advertising agency to coordinate the use of search terms in SEM and SEO efforts.
  • Maximize exposure of web content by repurposing and promoting it across social channels along with the Social Media Manager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • One to three (1-3) years of SEO experience or related marketing experience
  • Self-motivated, flexible and innovative 
  • Strong team player with ability to work within team dynamic or independently as needed 
  • Strong communication skills


Salary will be determined by the educational background and experience of each applicant and will be discussed with individual candidates as they are invited to interview for this position.
