Accounting: Description of Position

Northwest Nazarene University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in all areas of Accounting. Undergraduate courses include Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I/II, Cost Accounting, Audit, Advanced Financial Accounting, and Income Tax. Graduate courses include Managerial/Cost Accounting, Business Valuation & Analysis, Advanced Accounting Information Systems, Forensic Accounting & Fraud Examination, Accounting Theory/Research.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Business
  • CPA or CMA designation
  • Current practitioner or recent experience in accounting in corporate or non-profit environments
  • All candidates must have a Christian perspective (preferably in the Wesleyan tradition), be in agreement with the doctrine of the Nazarene church, agree to live within the mission and lifestyle values of NNU, and be willing to help advance the spiritual goals of the University
  • Candidates are to have a high level of integrity, and personal responsibility must be verified

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D., DBA or be ABD in a regionally accredited program in accounting, business or a closely related field

Business Analytics: Description of Position

Northwest Nazarene University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach graduate courses in Business Analytics.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business
  • Current practitioner or recent experience in business analytics in corporate or non-profit environments
  • All candidates must have a Christian perspective (preferably in the Wesleyan tradition), be in agreement with the doctrine of the Nazarene church, agree to live within the mission and lifestyle values of NNU, and be willing to help advance the spiritual goals of the University
  • Candidates are to have a high level of integrity, and personal responsibility must be verified

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business with at least 15 credit hours in business analytics
  • Ph.D., DBA or be ABD in a regionally accredited program in business or a closely related field
