Job Postings via Handshake:

Log in to Handshake and search for jobs posted specifically for NNU students and alumni. Postings include on-campus student positions, local odd jobs, as well as entry-level positions and career opportunities, both part-time and full-time.

On-Campus Student Employment:

All students can search and apply for on-campus jobs through Handshake — search for employer “NNU Student Employment” to see all on-campus positions, including work study.

Students must have original identification necessary to obtain employment. Photocopies of identification will not be accepted. For more information on acceptable documents for hire, visit here. Once a student is hired for a job, they must provide documentation to HR prior to starting a position.

Work Study Students: The following departmental positions are not eligible for work-study: Spiritual Formation (chapel monitors), College of Theology and Christian Ministries, Facilities and Food Service. All other on-campus positions are eligible. NNU also participates in the America Reads program in which NNU students go to local elementary schools to help grade school children in reading and math. For more information on America Reads, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.

Odd Jobs: People in the community regularly contact Career Development seeking students for one-time, short-term, or as-needed opportunities. These opportunities can include tutoring, child care, yard work, cleaning and more. Career Development acts as a liaison between community members and students for these paid positions. Odd jobs are posted on Handshake under employer “NNU Student Employment,” positions are titled: “Odd Job – (type of job).” For more information on odd jobs, please contact Career Development.
