NNU offers a Bachelor of Arts in Physics for students wanting to use their physics education to pursue graduate studies in other areas such as law or medicine. This multidisciplinary degree focusing on broad physics fundamentals offers many opportunities for experiential learning. To make sure your education includes much more than a textbook, our professors focus on hands-on learning and team design projects, made possible in our fabrication, mechanical, electronics and engineering labs. NNU’s Physics Department also requires a senior design project and offers students other opportunities to be involved in research and design projects. With seven design teams externally funded by organizations such as NASA, ASI, and Micron, NNU physics students have many opportunities to gain invaluable experience in their field of study.

SPOTLIGHT

The professors are willing to work with you one on one, which I think is something that not a lot of other schools can say. They push you and care about you personally and academically. I've been able to develop a lot of healthy relationships with my professors as they've been able to guide me through life.
