Physics

NNU offers a Bachelor of Arts in Physics for students wanting to use their physics education to pursue graduate studies in other areas such as law or medicine. This multidisciplinary degree focusing on broad physics fundamentals offers many opportunities for experiential learning. To make sure your education includes much more than a textbook, our professors focus on hands-on learning and team design projects, made possible in our fabrication, mechanical, electronics and engineering labs. NNU’s Physics Department also requires a senior design project and offers students other opportunities to be involved in research and design projects. With seven design teams externally funded by organizations such as NASA, ASI, and Micron, NNU physics students have many opportunities to gain invaluable experience in their field of study.
