International Studies

NNU’s Bachelor of Arts in International Studies provides students with an understanding of international affairs through study of modern language, intercultural communication skills, business and international commerce, and the social and political realities that exist outside the United States. This major also develops in students critical liberal arts skills—such as written and oral communication and critical thinking—and encourages students to seek solutions to contemporary problems through the application of personal and Christian values. An International Studies degree prepares students to enter the workforce or further their study in this field. Most of the career choices in this area, such as diplomacy, law, international finance, bilingual service, international ministry, and others, require advanced degrees or further specialized training.

SPOTLIGHT

Community was a very important aspect of a college that I wanted to find. And once I visited NNU, I knew that this was a place where the community was real.
