Accelerated Program for Teaching Certification in Elementary Education

New teacher certification classes for Elementary Education start every fall and spring. Earn a teaching certificate in just 16 months, depending on prior credits. Classes meet face-to-face two evenings a week, 5:30–9:30 p.m. This allows candidates to maintain their daytime employment and/or family responsibilities until they begin student teaching. Some daytime hours are required during the program for field experience.
To be recommended for teaching certification by NNU, a candidate must meet the complete requirements of the teacher education program in effect at the time of admission to teacher education and any additional requirements if required by the standards of State or regulatory agencies.
Elementary teacher candidates must have at least two years of college or university credit and required general education courses. Candidates must also have completed prerequisite credits, which are also available in the same accelerated evening or online format. If you already have a Bachelor's degree, NNU also offers a graduate level Teacher Certification program that leads to an M.Ed with Elementary or Secondary Certification

I feel like I've grown the most socially here. There's a line in “It’s a Small World,” that there's just one moon and one golden sun, and a smile means friendship to everyone. I was like, maybe that's cheesy but it might work... and people responded with a smile. I've made some good friends here and I'm really happy about that.
