BSN Clinical Coordinator


The Clinical Coordinator for the Baccalaureate Nursing Program is appointed by the Dean of the College of Nursing and reports to the BSN Program Chair. The BSN Clinical Coordinator, in concert with the program chair, is responsible for overseeing the BSN program clinical rotations and all the student requirements.

  • Secure clinical rotations/placement for students in collaboration with the Chair for the BSN program Provide administrative and organizational support for the College of Nursing and the BSN program Assist the Program Chair with clinical evaluation of the BSN program in relation to the student clinical component requirements
  • Actively participate with the Clinical Connections program
  • Manage the My Clinical Exchange (or similar clinical placement software) software to ensure smooth clinical placements for student
  • Manage data collection repository to record student clinical requirements
  • Use data collection repository to run reports as needed for evaluation of the BSN program Actively participate in the development and maintenance of the BSN clinical handbook
  • Assist with preparation of internal and external annual reports regarding program outcomes Maintain clinical outcome data as required by the CCNE
  • Promote visibility and advancement of the BSN program within and outside NNU
  • Serve as liaison between other agencies and Northwest Nazarene University to advance practice and educational achievement for BSN students


  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Experience with public relations, marketing, sales or business development Excellent written and verbal skills, ability to communicate professionally
  • Effective interpersonal relationship skills
  • Must have good time management and organization

This position is part time working 20-25 hours per week throughout the year. The work schedule for this position is flexible within the parameters of the normal NNU workweek (offices are generally open Monday through Friday from 8-5pm). The compensation range is $15-$19 per hour, depending on experience.
