Commencement Participation Policy
Adult undergraduate students may participate in commencement if all degree requirements are completed or will be completed at the end of the spring semester, including the Cultural Competency experience.
Graduate students may participate in commencement if all degree requirements are completed or will be completed at the end of the spring semester.
Exceptions
When all other requirements have been met, a student may participate in commencement if no more than 6 credits remain uncompleted beyond the current spring semester.
Ed.D. and Ph.D. students are allowed only the following requirements uncompleted beyond the spring semester:
LAST DAY TO APPLY FOR GRADUATION is Friday, March 19, 2021.
Clearance for Participation
Graduate and Professional Studies students will be cleared for participation through the Registrar's Office. Letters of participation will be sent to students by the Registrar. The last day to clear for participation is Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
Picking Up Regalia
Group of 6 Tickets per Graduate – pick up with Regalia from department offices after April 23, 2021. Children 2 years and under do not need a ticket but may need to sit on a lap. Please check with your program coordinator for details.

Brandt Center lawn (Masks are required for participants and guests.)
Graduates report to Walden Hall in the Student Conrad Commons at least 30 mins (earlier is recommended) prior to commencement for check-in and pictures and then proceed to your seats.
