Important information regarding Explore NNU:

  • Check-In. Please plan to arrive on campus for check-in on Thursday evening between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the NNU Brandt Center.  If you become delayed please call our Visit Coordinator at 208-989-5798 and let us know your status.  Groups arriving after 9:45 p.m. should go directly to the residence halls to check in:  girls to Ford Hall and guys to Culver hall.  A tentative schedule of the event is provided on the attached letter for your information.  Please note that this schedule is approximate and an updated schedule will be provided upon arrival at the event.
  • Sponsor Responsibilities  Churches bringing students to Explore NNU must have a responsible sponsor on-hand to supervise the students.  Sponsors are not necessarily required to sleep in the residence halls – though this is encouraged – but must be staying near the campus and readily accessible by cell phone.  In the event that a student becomes ill or disruptive, sponsors may be asked to remove the student from campus and will be expected to take responsibility for the student.
  • Sponsors: One sponsor per five students is admitted FREE.  Be sure to indicate if you need on-campus housing in the dorm.  Additional sponsors may stay in the dorms free of charge but will need to purchase meal passes at the dining hall.  A $35  gift certificate to the NNU Bookstore will be given to each youth pastor who brings 5 or more students and returns the registration form by the deadline.
  • Social activities.  Friday night will include open gym (basketball, dodgeball, volleyball, etc.) and/or another casual campus activity.  If you prefer to organize your own off-campus activity, suggestions include go-carts and laser tag at Boondocks in Meridian (208-898-0900), shopping at Boise Towne Square Mall, ice skating at Idaho Ice World in Boise (208-331-0044), an Idaho Steelheads hockey game (208-383-0080) or a trip to the dollar movies.
