Spiritual Life at NNU
A Message from the University Chaplain
NNU is not a “safe” place.
God is at work in the world. Amazing things are happening everywhere as God’s people discover what God is doing and prepare themselves to become a part of it. If you’re looking for a safe place to hide from the world while you get a degree, NNU is probably not for you.
If you’re more interested in being prepared to engage the world than in being protected from the world then NNU IS your kind of place.
God loved the world so much that He sent His only son into the messy middle of it. We love the world so much we’re getting young women and men ready to follow in His steps. I am excited about walking with you on our journey of spiritual formation. I’m excited about the changes that will take place in your life during the time you are a part of this community. But mostly, I’m excited about the impact your life will have on the world God loves as you take what you’ve learned and what you’ve become into the future that is yet to be discovered.
This university is committed to your spiritual growth. That commitment is expressed in a variety of programs and opportunities. The Spiritual Development staff is here to help you on the Journey.
