The more you know about NNU, the more there is to love. We suggest accompanying your son or daughter on a campus visit to learn even more. In the meantime, here is some information on the health and safety procedures that NNU has in place to protect your child and your peace of mind.
The Wellness Center cares for both the physical and emotional health of NNU students. Through the Center students are able to make appointments to meet with professionals for both physical and emotional health reasons, as well as visit the walk-in afternoon clinic. The Wellness Center also coordinates both the Peer Mentors and the Peer Health Educators. These student groups advocate for health campus-wide, and are available as contacts for students who need help and direction on health issues.
The Campus Safety Department cares for all of the safety and security needs of the campus. Campus Safety Officers are on patrol and available for campus emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Students can call
(208) 467-8911 at any time, whether it's to request an escort across campus after a late night study session, or to report a suspicious person or emergency situation.
