Technology and Media Resources (TMR) provides support for all the classroom technology on campus. Each classroom is equipped with an overhead projector and screen. Nearly all of the classrooms are also equipped with a data projector and computer teaching station that offers instructors and students the ability to project computer images, as well as play videotapes and DVD's. Many of the classrooms are also equipped with SMART Boards that allow instructors and students to interact electronically with projected data images. Additional media equipment requests for classroom use should be pre-arranged with TMR by calling (208) 467-8111 or media(at)nnu.edu. 

 "Immediate Response" classroom technology support for computers and printers is available to faculty and students during scheduled classroom hours by calling the TMR at (208) 467-8111 or submit a help ticket at help.nnu.edu.

Technology and Media Resources staff members are available to discuss instructional projects and issues and assist faculty with the development and production of instructional materials. Assistance can also be given regarding the purchase of various types of media equipment and materials for departmental or personal use. Consulting with Technology and Media Resources personnel prior to purchasing audio, video, and photography equipment provides consistency for campus equipment and can often result in considerable savings.

Technology and Media Resources provides black and white and color copying services and also maintains two black and white coin operated machines located in the library and the student center, as well as one color coin-operated copy machine located in the library. 

The copy machine in Technology and Media Resources can also be used to scan documents and send them over e-mail. There is no cost for the scanning of documents on the copy machine. For assistance using this feature please ask a Technology and Media Resources employee.

Technology and Media Resources offers three sizes of laminating. We have a card laminator that laminates a variety of card sized products including luggage tags.

We also have a 12" and 25" wide roll laminators.

We cannot laminate anything that is printed on heat-sensitive paper.

Technology and Media Resources (TMR) has supplies and personnel available to assist with the preparation of instructional and display materials. Small office equipment and some consumable supplies are available free of charge and can be checked out at the front counter for use in the TMR work area.
