  • A new era: The "Beyond Bricks and Mortar" campaign concludes with the dedication of the Thomas Family Health & Science Center as students and faculty bring a state-of-the-art learning center.
  • Assistant professor knows who is in control: Mathematics and computer science professor Xueyi Wang transitions from a working professional in China to a research and and professor at Northwest Nazarene University.
  • M'm! M'm! Good!: Ashley Morman, senior business and marketing student, completes a pilot internship program with Campbell soup Company and takes on several outreach projects.
  • Academics and athletics: Crusaders showcase their expertise for the second year in a row; the Great Northwest Athletic Conference awards the Crusaders its Academic All-Sports title for having the best team grade-point average in three sports.
  • Homecoming & Family Weekend 2009: Plan to "Celebrate" Homecoming & Family Weekend 209 with alumni, students and friends.

  • Dr. Gismondi shares his unique research on social capital: Associate professor of political science and international relations unveils groundbreaking research.
  • To cross the finish line: Nine-time NCAA Division II All-American and class of 2009 graduate Ashley Puga becomes the most decorated NNU track and field athlete.

  • Presidential Inauguration: Dr. David Alexander, Northwest Nazarene University’s twelfth president, was inaugurated in a ceremony March 12 before an audience of hundreds.
  • Homecoming and Family Weekend 2008: Relive memories of new places, new faces, and familiar faces. Make plans to attend Homecoming and Family Weekend 2009, “Celebrate!”
  • Student Spotlight: Haline Freitas: Haline Freitas, NNU senior, believes that God has big plans for her life. Follow her incredible story from Brazil, to the war-torn streets of Angola, and all the way to Nampa.
  • A rendezvous with destiny: Robert Sanchez, 1999, has taken the education he received at NNU and applied it in his role as Commanding Officer of the US Army Recruiting Battalion, Baton Rouge, La.
  • University Advancement: The Thomas Family Health & Science Center is nearly completed! Plans are underway to move in by early April. Also, catch up on students participating in this year’s phonathon.

  • Men’s soccer returns: It’s back!  Men’s soccer has returned in full force.  Meet the coach, catch the vision and learn how you can be involved.
  • Breaking ground for new science and nursing center: The fundraising campaign for the new science and nursing center is approaching the final phase before groundbreaking celebrations.  University Advancement provides a detailed update and introduces the newest member of the team, an associate director for planned giving.
