Printer and Copier Installation Instructions
Setting up your printer on your computer
Click on "Find a printer in the directory, based on location or feature." then click Next. A list of most networked printers on campus will be displayed. You can then sort the list by location by clicking on the column heading, "Location", and then find your printer. Double-click on your printer. You may see a notice that the system is installing drivers, after which you will see another notice, "You've successfully added "YOUR PRINTER..." . You may then click on that printer in your printer list and set it as default if you like.

Need to move your Canon machine?

When offices across campus are moved, or when work areas are shifted, there may be a time when your Canon machine has to be moved. If this is the case, please submit a request for assistance from Technology and Media Resources (TMR) by submit a help ticket at help.nnu.edu.
The TMR technicians will look at each request and determine if the copier can be moved by the TMR, or if a call to Fisher's will need to be made. No non-IT department personnel should be moving copiers themselves.
Moving copiers on campus can be costly, but so can damage to the copiers. Please let the TMR assist with this special need if it arises.
Canon machine need service?
For minor assistance that might not require a service technician, or to have assistance setting up the machine to copy and print in specific ways, contact the TMR (Technology & Media Resources) at 467-8111 or submit a help ticket at help.nnu.edu.
If you have lines across your print jobs, a really badly jammed print job, or faint copies, you may contact Fisher's Document Systems, 947-3600. Make note of the sticker on your machine front cover that has an "FEQ" number on it. Fisher's will need that FEQ number to dispatch their service technician to your location.
