Expected Dates of Network Down Time

Each year, the network team in Information Technology schedules time for upgrading and updating the network systems to make sure they are working as efficiently and securely as possible. This requires some network "down times". In an effort to avoid unexpected loss of connectivity, the network team schedules specific dates for maintenance on the NNU network. These maintenance days are on Sundays, during the hours when historically there is the least activity on the network.

Network maintenance day reminders are sent out via Message Board the week before they are scheduled as way to help you schedule around them. If you know of a problem with a scheduled maintenance day as listed below, please contact Eric Kellerer, Executive IT Director.

Below are the expected maintenance days for the 2012-2013 academic year. Bear in mind that on these maintenance days, network system connections may be intermittent or non-existent between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. This includes internet, email, phone systems, and other peripheral systems reliant upon the network.
