Financial Aid

The purpose of financial aid is to bridge the gap between what you and your family can afford and the total cost of your education. Since more than 95 percent of Northwest Nazarene University students receive some sort of financial aid, we would encourage every student to apply for financial aid and pursue every possible resource, including scholarships, grants, loans, and employment.

To receive federal financial aid and other types of need based financial aid you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The process will be quicker if both you and your parent(s) have a pin number. If you have not already received a pin number, you can obtain one at www.pin.ed.gov. If you would like a FAFSA on the web worksheet, please stop by the Financial Aid Office or you can find a copy to print at www.fafsa.ed.gov (applications for the following year are not usually available until January).

NNU's priority filing deadline is March 1st and our Federal School Code is 001624.
