Our Mission
Environmental Services strives to maintain clean, comfortable, and safe working and living environments on campus, both indoors and out. The E.S. department is comprised of maintenance, grounds, and custodial personnel.
What We Do
We are here to help! Please, take a moment to familiarize youself with the different functions we provide. It is our sincere desire that your experience with us will be both pleasant and productive.
NNU's maintenance personnel and outside contractors work to keep building systems operating safely and efficiently. These systems include heating and air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and elevators. Maintenance personnel also respond to various requests for repairs to campus property, and are sometimes involved in special projects.
Our custodial staff is commited to promoting the university outcomes by providing clean, safe and sanitary environments for people to conduct their work, academia, or social events.
Our grounds crew works to provide a safe and accessible campus that is aesthetically pleasing and conducive to the campus environment.
Our Administration team is committed to keeping environmental services running in a way that is smooth, efficient, and most importantly, responsive to the campus community. We are dedicated to assuring that the services we provide to the university are both productive and cost effective, and to providing accurate data on facilities management issues so that the university can maximize the use of its resources.
Though not a rental facility, environmental services does provide equipment services to various campus functions for classes, projects, and events at a reasonable rate.
