What time do the buildings close on campus?
The buildings are closed to all students between the hours of 12:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. If you have permission from a professor to be in the building after hours, please be sure to let the officer's on duty know when they check the building.
Is skateboarding allowed on campus?
You may use your skateboard only as a use of transportation to and from buildings. There is no play riding allowed on the campus.
Where is the Campus Safety office located?
The Department of Campus Safety Administration can be reached Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. by calling 208.467.8833 or on campus 8833. Our Administrative and Identification Card office is located just south of Ford Hall and next to Environmental Services at 615 E. Bird Ave. Our Patrol Division operates out of the South Nampa Police Substation 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The Substation is located on the southwest side of the campus adjacent to NNU Olsen Apartments and the new soccer field at 916 Maple Street.
Where can I pay my fine?
Between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. you may come down to the office and write a check or money order out to Northwest Nazarene University for your traffic violation. Security will not accept cash.
I locked my keys in the car, what do I do?
If the vehicle is still running the Nampa Police Department may come and unlock your vehicle free of charge. If the vehicle is not running, then you will have to call a locksmith. Due to liability issues, the Department of Campus Safety does NOT handle anything that has to do with unlocking your vehicle.
Where do I report an incident that has occurred here on campus?
You can call Campus Safety at 8550, or you may file an incident report online and you will receive a reply that way.
