Housing

Housing

A small group enjoys the comfortable, home-like atmosphere of one of the Trinity Pines cottages.

You may consider several options for housing at this year's retreat.  Many take advantage of the lodging on the conference grounds that include the cottages, dorms, or RV spaces.   You may also prefer to make your own arrangements at one of the local hotels or RV campgrounds.  The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs has underwritten housing costs for faculty and family members staying at Trinity Pines for both Friday and Saturday nights.  If you choose to stay off-site, however, you must make your own reservations and pay your own fees.

Please indicate your lodging choice when you register for faculty retreat using the online registration form.  Housing at Trinity Pines is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please remember that staying on site requires that you bring your own bedding and towels as well as to clean your room before you leave.

NOTE:  NNU covers the cost of lodging for the NNU faculty and immediate families who choose to stay anywhere on the Trinity Pines Conference Center campus on Friday and Saturday nights.  All meals served during the conference from Saturday morning through Sunday lunch for faculty and their immediate families are included as well.

Friday Night Option

Trinity Pines Conference Center has graciously extended the option to NNU faculty families or individuals who opt to check in on Friday evening prior to the start of the Retreat to stay at the Conference Center.  Please note that NO FOOD SERVICE is available that evening.

If you want to take advantage of this option, do the following:

  • Choose the appropriate "+ Friday" option on the Registration Form.

  • Understand that every attempt will be made to assign you the same accommodations for Saturday night, but it may be necessary to relocate in order to satisfy all of the housing requests for those arriving on Saturday.
