Alumnus Andrew Olsen, biology major from the class of 2012, and Dr. John Cossel Jr. had their article “Observations of a Remnant Population of the Critically Endangered Hylid Frog Isthmohyla rivularis on the Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve, Costa Rica” published in the most recent issue of Herpetological Review. The research experiences and the publication process were both instrumental in helping Andrew get his position as a research assistant at Texas A&M University, Kingsville, where he is completing a master’s of science degree.
