The Office of Information Technology is pleased to announce two new employees, BJ Howard and Chris Lloyd.

BJ Howard joined the team as of Monday, June 2, to fill the gap left by Merre Yergenson’s retirement in May. BJ graduated from NNU this spring with a BA in computer science. His interests have been in web development and programming. BJ’s current project is to assist with the intensive programming involved with connecting NNU Online to the CX databases that will help keep the program viable academically and statistically.

You may remember that BJ is the face of Tevye in the 2014 spring musical “Fiddler on the Roof,” and acted and sang in many other NNU productions and choir performances during his studies at NNU. He also performed in several musical productions at Starlight Mountain Theatre during the summers. BJ attends a local church and is active in serving. In his spare time, he enjoys experimenting with web development and reading great books, and he is also excited to find out what God has next for him at this point in his life.

Chris Lloyd joins the IT team as of Monday, June 9, as a systems technician in Technology & Media Resources to fill a recent vacancy caused by the promotion of Micah Chasteen to the network operations team. Chris comes to us as a recent graduate of BSU, with a BA in information technology management. While at BSU, Chris worked as a student employee for the campus Help Desk and the College of Business and Economics IT Department assisting with desktop repair and upgrades, multi-function printers, mobile devices, classroom technology, and many other areas. His most recent project was to assist the College of Business and Economics with the move to using Windows 8 as their primary operating system.

In his free time, Chris enjoys the sport of parkour and is the founder of a large parkour group in Boise. Chris is actively involved in his church that is made up mostly of young adults. He believes his time at BSU strengthened his commitment to Christ, and he looks forward to seeing where God will lead him in the future.

Please join the Information Technology team as they welcome and congratulate these excellent new staff members. Also, please offer congratulations to Micah Chasteen for his recent promotion.
