NNU students and brothers, Douglas and David Waterman, were recently awarded the Future Leader of Excellence Award by the Nampa Chamber of Commerce during their Evening of Excellence community event.

The Future Leader of Excellence Award recognizes Nampa student(s) (high school through post‐secondary) who strives to achieve their best and exemplifies innovative leadership while encouraging their peers to do the same, excels academically, is involved in extracurricular activities, and gives back to the Nampa community by volunteering.

Douglas is a senior communication science major with a minor in business administration, while David is a junior majoring in marketing with a minor in communication. Both young men have been extremely active in the community and on campus.

Throughout the 2014-15 academic year, they will serve together on SGA in the positions of Community Relations Coordinator and Publicity Director.

Congratulations Douglas and David on your hard work and recognition!
