A group of NNU’s social work students competed in the NASW Advocacy Days at Idaho’s State Capitol Feb. 24-25. The competition was based on legislation analysis for MSW and BSW students from around the state. Two undergraduate students, Brad Hammer and Shaun Hall, took second place. Other BSW students who presented are Kayla Grim, Rebecca Hernandez and Sara Winkleman.
The event was focused on bringing awareness to social and political justice, especially for social work students.
