NNU to host final mayoral debate for City of Nampa

On Tuesday, October 29, NNU will host Nampa’s final mayoral debate before elections take place on Nov. 5. The four candidates are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the Grand Lobby of the Brandt Center on NNU’s campus.

The debate will be hosted by NNU’s Department of History and Political Science and the NNU Honors College. Dr. Steve Shaw, professor of political science and director of the Honors College, will moderate the event. Attendees can expect a spirited and passionate discussion in this final debate of the election season followed by a question and answer period between the audience and the candidates.
