The NNU Centennial has been a time for storytelling. We have spent the past year remembering and retelling stories, laughing and crying together, and honoring those who have represented us so well over the course of our history. Each of us associated with NNU—whether student or parent, alumni or faculty, neighbor or friend—holds a part of the story of this place just as this place has influenced the stories of those whose lives have intersected its history.

In a few short weeks the story of our first 100 years will come to a close at the Centennial Finale at Homecoming & Family Weekend. We intend to celebrate in a fashion worthy of the sacrifices and investments made by our founders and friends but also in the spirit of humor and fun that makes the NNU story unique.

The party will not be the same without you. Whatever your niche at NNU, whatever decade marked your college years, this is the year to come back for Homecoming. You will find in the following descriptions an event for everyone—including you! From choir reunions to academic discipline gatherings, to sporting events, and a birthday bash, there is a place for you to reconnect and reunite with those you lived among, laughed with and learned from.

Make your plans to attend. Each event description contains a link to the Homecoming Website where you can find more information and buy your tickets online. Come help us blow out the birthday candles on our first century and write the first chapter in our next 100-year story.

–David Alexander, NNU President
