Far-out man! This decade of Saturday Night Fever, Brady Bunch, platform shoes and bell-bottoms made a statement on the NNC campus. In this Centennial year’s Slick, we pay homage to the 1970s. The event will take place during Homecoming & Family Weekend right after the men’s basketball game against Point Loma Nazarene University.

The Junior Class council is sponsoring the ‘70s Slick. Kody Jacobs, Junior Class president, writes that the Slick is one homecoming event that students and alumni won’t want to miss. Food by Sodexo and entertainment will be provided. Details for the event are tentative, but be sure to expect the unexpected. Don’t worry about the cost of this event as it is free and open to the homecoming public. The Slick starts promptly after the basketball game at 9:30 p.m. Make sure to wear your grooviest clothes and be ready to disco the night away!
