The Founders’ Day Chapel is the first of a series of events that will be included in the inaugural Athletics, Alumni & Friends Celebration weekend. Following the 10 a.m. chapel in the Brandt Center will be a luncheon on campus. The afternoon can then be spent with fellow alumni athletes for a sport-specific activity, or you can choose to receive a manicure/pedicure treatment.

AT 5:30 p.m. you are welcome to join NNU’s faculty, staff and neighbors for “The Gathering,” a dinner on the Brandt Center lawn with other activities available such as bounce houses, face painting, a mariachi band and a concert by High Street. After the gathering, plan to spend a fun-filled evening during a game night at the Johnson Sports Center, with access to the climbing wall, batting cages, board/table games, a golf simulator and a variety of carnival games.

On Saturday, September 14, you are invited to play in the Legends Golf Tournament at Ridgecrest Golf Course, or register for the Roger Curran 5k Run/Walk at West Park in Nampa. In the afternoon, swing by the Crusader soccer games and also enjoy a barbecue lunch. At 7 p.m., plan to attend the Athletic Alumni Banquet that features a live auction, awards and highlights of the weekend.

Costs for the weekend events are as follows:

  • Full weekend with meals and Legends Golf Tournament: $139
  • Full weekend without Legends Golf Tournament: $59
  • Children (12 & under): $29
  • Childcare (11 & under): Free (meals not included)

For registration and payment, go to: https://www.nnu.edu/form/athletics-alumni-friends.  For questions, contact Stacey Ammann, CAA Development Specialist, at 208-467-8877, or at sammann@nnu.edu.”
