Dr. Michael Pitts was nominated by his peers and recommended to be the Chair of the Counselor Education Department. Dr. Pitts assumed this responsibility as of July 1, 2013. Dr. Pitts will continue the good work started by his predecessor, Dr. Brenda Freeman. Congratulations, Dr. Pitts!

The U.S. Department of Education (ED), Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE), has selected Dr. Ezekiel Ette to participate as a field reviewer for the Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Fellowship (DDRA) program. Dr. Ette was selected because of his teaching, research, practical experience in international education, as well as being an appropriate match to the proposed world areas in which applications were submitted for this year’s competition. Congratulations, Dr. Ette!
