NNU Associate Professor of Theology Dr. Joseph Gorman will present the third lecture of four in NNU’s Centennial Series Faculty Award Lectures that emphasize the University’s values of transformation, truth, service and community. The theme of Gorman’s lecture is “Service,” the third of the four values. The event will be held tomorrow evening, Apr. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Jackson Brothers Lecture Hall, Thomas Family Health & Science Center.
Gorman’s lecture, “Ripple Effect: A Wesleyan Vision of Holistic Transformation in Christ,” will articulate how a Christian liberal arts university in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition, such as Northwest Nazarene University, is uniquely situated to partner with God in working for the holistic transformation of the world in Christ
NNU’s Centennial Series: Faculty Award Lectures are free and open to the public. The Jackson Brothers Lecture Hall is located on the first floor of the Thomas Family Health & Science Center, 603 Dewey St. in Nampa.
