Phi Delta Lambda honors new members

NNU’s Phi Delta Lambda chapter is proud to announce the induction of 44 new students this year. These students join the international honor society of Nazarene colleges and universities with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.70.

NNU’s Phi Delta Lambda chapter also awarded its Young Alumnus Award to Astin Salisbury, class of 2007, and Dr. Edwin Robinson, class of 1973, received the Alumnus Award.

This year’s recipient of the Phi Delta Lambda scholarship in an amount exceeding $1000 is Chelsea Goelz (Middleton, Idaho). These students are in the top fifteen percentile of their class with a GPA of at least 3.70.

Dr. Jay Akkerman, NNU Phi Delta Lambda president, states, “For over 70 years, our Delta Chapter has recognized NNU’s top scholars for their commitments to striving after wisdom and walking in paths of righteousness as we serve both God and others. We congratulate our 2012 inductees and look forward to welcoming them as members of our society.”
