NNU holds Celebration of Service

NNU honored its retiring employees as well as 34 individuals who reached milestones of service (10, 15, 20 and 25 years) at an annual dinner held recently in the Grand Lobby of the Brandt Center.

President Alexander considers the annual event a time to come together near the close of the school year to properly recognize and celebrate those who have given of themselves for the cause of Christ in service to Northwest Nazarene University.

Retiring personnel who were honored are: Robbyn Lande, 38 years; Larry McMillin, 25 years. Larry was also honored with the title of Professor Emeritus; Mamie Oliver, 12 years; and Dave Peterson, 4 years.

Faculty honored for 25 years of service: Larry McMillin; for 20 years: Gene Schandorff, LaRita Schandorff, Duane Slemmer; for 15 years: Brooke Adamson, Karen Blacklock, Kathryn Burns, Mike Poe and Karen Smucker;  for 10 years: Terry Cantrell, Lawanna Lancaster, Barbara Lester, Mark Maddix, Thomas Oord, James Rotz, William Russell and Al Sanchez.

University personnel honored for 25 years of service: Barbara Manley and Bonnie Wilhite; for 20 years: Karen Pearson; for 15 years: Rhonda Gray, Jan Jellerson, Janet Minor, Brian Stillman, Katie Salisbury and Debi Van Manen; for 10 years: Audra Butkus, Sherry Hartman, Hollie Lindner, Maureen Matlock, Tim Milburn, Tim Onofrei, Bryce Quarve and John Spatz.
