Husband and wife musical duo hold recital

Northwest Nazarene University music students, seniors Nate and Stephanie Thomas, will perform a joint senior recital in the Swayne Auditorium of the Brandt Center Saturday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. The recital is presented in partial fulfillment of degree requirements for music industry degrees being earned by both Nate and Stephanie.

Stephanie (Myers) Thomas, pianist from Sparks, Nev., will perform pieces by J.S. Bach, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Ginastera. Nate, bassist (double bass and electric bass) and organist from Lewiston, Idaho, will perform pieces by Jaco Pastorious, J.S. Bach, Chopin and Boston. The husband and wife duo will perform an arrangement of Chopin’s Winderwind Etude as a finale to the recital.

The Brandt Center is located at 707 Fern Street in Nampa. The recital is free of charge and open to the public.
