Winter Awakening Week concludes
After a week of prayer, fasting and worship, Northwest Nazarene University’s student government association (SGA) Winter Awakening week welcomed guest speaker Scott Evans, a youth officer in the Church of Ireland. Evans ministered to NNU students and faculty alike in Chapel on the importance of having an identity grounded in Christ, His love and going home to Him at the end of each day.
The Holy Spirit is being seen at work both on and off campus. Evans hosted evening talks in the Little Theatre as well as at the Flying M, and left students feeling revived and ready to take action in their faith.
Ben Heidegger, SGA campus ministries coordinator, thanks the NNU community for their prayers and support during this time of spiritual emphasis, “I am really excited for what God is doing in the hearts of so many students here. Please continue praying, and be confident you are having a great impact; we are so thankful for your prayers. It is a blessing to be a part of this greater body of Christ.”
