Bella Voce fundraiser Jan. 20
Northwest Nazarene University’s premier women’s choir “Bella Voce” will host an Italian opera dinner Friday, January 20 at 6 p.m. at College Church of the Nazarene. This fundraiser will assist the group in paying for tours and in supplementing students who cannot afford choir performance attire.
Music will be performed during dinner by students Alexandra Jarratt (Nampa) and Valerie Bower (Rochester, Wash.). NNU graduate and former professor Adam Duncan will also be welcomed as a special guest performer.
Duncan recently returned to Idaho from Kansas City where he taught at Park University and performed with the Lyric Opera of Kansas City. Today, Duncan resides in Cascade, Idaho where he teaches voice and music.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from the NNU Department of Music at 467-8413 located at 716 E. Dewey St. in Nampa. Dinner includes lasagna, salad, bread and dessert.
