The Northwest Nazarene University Department of Music will present an evening of chamber music Thursday, December 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Brandt Center’s Swayne Auditorium.

String ensembles will perform Beethoven’s “String Quartet, Op. 18 No.1 (Scherzo)” and a selection of Christmas holiday favorites.  A clarinet, horn and piano trio will perform a Brahms-like trio by Henri Molbe, and a flute, oboe and cello trio will perform Haydn’s “London Trio Number 1.”  The string ensembles are coached by Dr. Jennifer Sullivan and the woodwinds by Jeffrey Barker, both NNU adjunct instructors.
