Alline Swann Steinway piano fund

Would you join us in honoring the legacy of Alline Swann by helping those for whom she cared so deeply, NNU students?  You have an opportunity to invest in some of the finest young people in the world.  The Northwest Nazarene University Department of Music has a rare and unique opportunity to purchase an exceptional Steinway 9’ concert grand piano at a considerable discount.  We are asking alumni and friends to invest generously in this effort which will benefit students and the community for years to come.
The acquisition of this instrument is vital to alleviate the burden of use on the current grand piano.  The necessary moving of it between the Brandt Center and the NNU Little Theater (old Science Lecture Hall) to accommodate various concerts and events is difficult and costly, and over time has caused additional wear and tear on the present piano.  Adding the new concert grand piano will create permanent homes for both instruments and eliminate the need for moving either of these beautiful pianos back and forth across campus.
