Walk/Run early registration ends tomorrow!
Northwest Nazarene University will host its fourth annual Homecoming Walk/Run Saturday, Nov. 6, at 1 p.m. Runners and walkers can choose a one mile walk/run or a competitive 5k route certified by USA Track & Field, both of which begin and end at the Johnson Sports Center located at 313 E. Dewey.
Proceeds raised by participant pledges will provide need-based scholarships to supplement financial aid packages. In addition, $1 per entry will be donated to the International Refugee Committee. All pledges and contributions are tax-deductible.
The public is invited to race with NNU alumni and friends. There is a $7 entry fee, which includes a t-shirt for registrations submitted by October 22. Forms can be found online at www.nnu.edu/walkrun.
