NNU hosts bestselling author Dr. Donald Johnson
Northwest Nazarene University’s School of Science & Mathematics will be hosting a presentation by Dr. Donald E. Johnson, Wed., Nov. 3. His lecture, titled “Programming of Life: Bioinformatics Basics,” will explore the scientific evidence supporting intelligent design, the roles of chance and probability and unanswered problems. He will also discuss his latest book, Programming of Life, which highlights the information processing systems present in each cell.
Dr. Johnson has earned Ph.D.s in both computer & information sciences from the University of Minnesota and in chemistry from Michigan State University. He is the author of several books including Amazon bestseller Programming of Life and Probability’s Nature and Nature’s Probability.
The presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Jackson Lecture Hall located in NNU’s Thomas Family Health & Science Center. Community members are welcome to attend. Following the event, Dr. Johnson’s books will be available for purchase and signing.
