Wellness Center moves to new location

The NNU Wellness Center, which consists of counseling and health services, held a grand opening in its new location Wed., Sept. 8. The Wellness Center relocated from the Student Center to 518 E Dewey, between College Church and the Alumni House. The new space has allowed the counselors to spread out into separate offices and provide more privacy for the students. The Center’s services include therapy sessions with counselors, light therapy, visits from a nurse practitioner, all of the services that a registered nurse can provide and more. Visitors who stopped by on Wed. got to meet Terri Blackburn, the new campus nurse, and participate in pet and art therapy.
