SGA Sponsors Nursing Home Gift Drive

The annual nursing home gift drive sponsored by Northwest Nazarene University Student Government Association (SGA) begins this week. Gifts collected will go to residents of Trinity Mission Health and Rehab.

NNU SGA Community Relations Coordinator Robert Uehlin compiled a gift “wish list” from Nampa nursing home residents for the drive. “This is a perfect opportunity for members of our community who have a little extra holiday spirit to make a stranger feel like family at a time when family is so important,” Uehlin said.

Community members wishing to participate are asked to select an item from the wish list (also available atwww.nursinghomegiftdrive.blogspot.com). Then, leave a comment on the website indicating which gift you have purchased so that it can be removed from the list. The website will be constantly updated with those gifts that have already been selected. Gifts need to be wrapped, marked with the recipient’s code and delivered to the student development office, upstairs in the NNU Student Center, by November 30. Cash donations are also accepted.
