Northwest Nazarene University presents a jazz combos concert on Thursday, December 3. The performing groups are the NNU Jazz Revival, Thelonius Monk Combo and Coaches’ Choice Jam Combo.
The NNU Jazz program is proud to bring to the stage their closing concert of the fall semester. “This will be an evening of highly creative, spontaneous small-group jazz,” said Director Dr. Casey Christopher. After bringing music to audiences including the Curran Invitational, the Sun Valley Jazz Jamboree, the NNU Homecoming concert and the 6th annual Night of the Arts, these musicians will close their fall campus performance schedule with this concert.
The event is free and open to the public, and begins at 7:30 pm in the Science Lecture Hall located at 512 Holly Street. For more information, please contact the Department of Music at 208-467-8413.
