In a recent drive for local food banks, Northwest Nazarene University students collected over 1,400 lbs of canned foods. To collect the donations, students went throughout the University District trading energy-efficient light bulbs for cans. Robert Uehlin, student body community relations coordinator, said, “We are so thankful to the University District for their help in making our first try such a huge success.”
