Northwest Nazarene University students will hold a “trick-or-can” food drive to benefit local area food banks on Friday, October 30.  To collect the food, students will go house-to-house throughout the University District and local neighborhoods requesting a donation of canned food items rather than asking for a treat.

Since the students’ second goal is to raise awareness about environmental challenges facing the valley and the world, while collecting food for the local food banks they will give out an energy-efficient light bulb to every home they visit, regardless of having received a canned food donation.

To support this cause and your local community, please assist the NNU students as they “trick-or-can” between 6 and 8 p.m., Friday, October 30th.  For more information, contact Robert Uehlin, student body community relations coordinator, atrbuehlin@nnu.edu.
